Babar Azam is a Pakistani international cricketer, particularly known for his right-handed top-order batting. He is considered one of the finest batsmen in the world and currently holds the number one ranking in T20I and ODI formats, according to the ICC. He is also the only batsman in the world to be in the top 5 rankings across all formats.
Babar Azam was born on October 15, 1994, in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan, into a close-knit Punjabi Muslim family. He focused on Cricket early not in education. Growing up in a cricket-loving environment, he was inspired by his cousins Kamran and Umar Akmal, both of whom played for Pakistan. His early passion for cricket led him to serve as a ball boy during home series before rising through the ranks of domestic cricket. Babarβs disciplined upbringing and natural talent helped shape him into one of Pakistanβs most technically gifted batsmen, eventually becoming a cornerstone of the national team.
